Pharmacy Awareness Week 2001
Sponsorship Recognition Program

Pharmacy Awareness Week 2001 will be celebrated March 5-11. Our theme is Pharmacists Care, no matter where, and will focus on the concept of seamless care and on the diversity of pharmacy practice.

As the profession's only national public education campaign, we continue to grow and build on past successes. Won't you join us again and help us get the message out about a profession that has been very good to all of us? Here's how (the following amounts represent a one year donation):

Support for PAW has never been more worthwhile for our sponsors, who will receive extensive publicity leading up to, during and after the campaigns, including:

• All sponsors will be recognized by category in a mailing that will go to every pharmacist in Canada.
• All sponsors will be recognized on partners' web sites.
• All sponsors will be invited to attend a national event organized on Parliament Hill to celebrate Pharmacy Awareness Week. Sponsor signage will be provided at the reception.
• All sponsors will be recognized on CAPSI bulletin boards at Schools of Pharmacy across Canada
• All sponsors will receive a "Proud Sponsor" sign, which will indicate category of support, to hang in their exhibit booths at professional conferences

Platinum Partners (those pledging over $5,000) will receive all of the above, plus:

• A certificate of appreciation, suitable for framing.
• A camera-ready PAW logo that you can use in your promotional materials and publications (i.e. "Proud Platinum Partner, Pharmacy Awareness Week 2000").

Double Platinum Partners (those pledging over $10,000) will receive all of the above, plus:

• Your company representatives, when exhibiting at CPhA and CSHP meetings and attending CACDS conferences, which will provided with badges/ribbons to wear, which will recognize your company's generous contribution to the profession of pharmacy through Pharmacy Awareness Week.
• A photo opportunity at the Parliament Hill reception for use in your own publication.
• A mounted parchment certificate of merit publicly awarded at the CPhA Annual General Meeting (AGM) and CSHP's Professional Practice Conference (PPC).

Presidents' Club sponsors will receive all of the above, plus:

• An engraved donor recognition plaque, presented at CSHP's PPC and CPhA's AGM.
• Your company name will appear on the Pharmacy Awareness Week letterhead for one full year.
• Your company will be recognized as a Presidents' Club member (sponsor) in every issue of the Canadian Journal of Hospital Pharmacy (CJHP) (6 issues) and CAPSIL, the newsletter of CAPSI (3 issues) over one year.
• Your company will be recognized in the CACDS newsletter. The reference will include name, sponsorship level and logo.
• You can choose one of the following options, depending on your company's own marketing requirements:
  • 1 complimentary full page, four colour ad in the CJHP
  • 1 complimentary exhibit booth at the 2001 CSHP Professional Practice Conference (held in Toronto each February when PAW is on everyone's mind!)
  • 1 complimentary Corporate Membership in CSHP

A year has yet to pass when sponsors have not received even more profile that that outlined above. We pride ourselves on seizing all opportunities to thank our supporters. We are also happy to hear your ideas and suggestions for sponsor recognition. We will work with you to help you achieve your corporate marketing objectives through a donation to PAW.
